New U is a series of classes that help you to go from an unconnected attender or new believer here at New Life to a fully connected and serving and equipped member of our church. Completing these classes is a great way to join us in our vision of glorifying Jesus Christ, increasing God’s word, and multiplying disciples.
Class 101 is the basic introduction to our church family and is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. This class covers Our Salvation, Our Statements, Our Strategy, & Our Structure. You will hear the history of New Life Church, learn our purpose, mission, and values, and learn about God’s desires and purposes for your own life. In this class you will have the opportunity to confess and/or confirm your faith in Jesus Christ, commit to being baptized, and become a member of New Life Church. This class is suggested for anyone at New Life who is unfamiliar with our vision and mission or who is looking to define the basics of what it means to be a Christian. At the end of Class 101 you will have the opportunity to fill out, sign, and submit the Membership Application or wait until another time.

Do you want to become more like Jesus? Class 201 will help you develop the habits you need to jump-start your spiritual growth. It will give you an overview of the basic individual spiritual habits every Christian needs in order to grow: Quiet time with God (prayer and Bible reading), Giving, and Fellowship. At the end of Class 201 you will have the opportunity to learn about and join one of New Life’s existing small groups or wait until another time.

Class 301 is a two-session Bible Study that explores the role of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts in the church today.
Learn:
- Who the Holy Spirit is
- What the Holy Spirit's role is in the life of the believer
- What spiritual gifts are
- How spiritual gifts are distributed among the church
- How to find what gift(s) you have
