What to Expect

Students at a Youth Event

Whether your student has grown up in church or is just getting started, we know stepping into a new environment can come with questions. At Elevate Youth, we create a safe, welcoming, and spiritually rich experience where students grow deeper in their faith through God’s Word and meaningful connection. Our goal is to help students understand the full counsel of Scripture and build a strong foundation before stepping into adulthood.

Elevate is open to all students in 6th through 12th grade. If you have a student younger than 6th grade, they are welcome to attend our Kids Church.

We meet every Sunday from 5:00–7:00 PM on the 3rd floor of New Life Community Church.

New Life is conveniently located 301 W. 2nd Street in Downtown Grand Island. That is on the corner of 2nd and Wheeler. Click here to get directions.

Each week includes teaching from the Bible, small group discussions, games, and opportunities to connect with others in a fun and safe environment.

We are a member church of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. You can learn more about the Alliance at www.cmalliance.org.

Absolutely! Every student is welcome, no matter their background. Our leaders are intentional about helping new students feel comfortable and included.

For first time students, we recommend using the “Plan Student Visit Today” button before arriving. However, we have a simple check-in process for students before each Elevate night. Parents are also encouraged to connect with leaders and receive updates on what students are learning.

Yes, Elevate is led by trusted adult leaders who are passionate about guiding students in their walk with Christ. All volunteers have passed a background-check.

We teach straight from the Bible, focusing on topics relevant to students like identity, relationships, faith, purpose, and how to apply Scripture to everyday life.

There is no cost to attend our regular weekly gatherings. Occasionally, there may be a fee for special events or retreats, but we never want cost to be a barrier.

Yes! Your student is more than welcome at Elevate, even if your family doesn’t attend New Life or any church at all. We’re here to serve and support all students in our community, no matter their background or church affiliation.

Sunday Gatherings

Our Sunday Gatherings are a welcoming and engaging time of worship, teaching, and community. We start with modern worship music led by a full band, followed by a relevant, Bible-based message that applies God’s truth to everyday life. You’ll never be singled out or made to feel uncomfortable—just encouraged and inspired. Arrive early to grab a coffee from the Oasis Coffeehouse, settle in, and enjoy a meaningful time of worship and teaching!

Our Thru-the-Bible studies offer a deep and engaging journey through Scripture. We hold the same study twice each week, so you can join when it works best for you. No matter your experience, everyone is welcome to learn, ask questions, and grow together.

About Kids Church

Kids Church

Our Kids’ Church helps children engage with God in a fun and meaningful way. Passionate teachers guide them through the Bible with interactive lessons. Infants through 5th graders have a safe, welcoming space to grow in their faith while parents enjoy their service.
